DIY Skateboard Challenge

The DIY Skateboard Challenge is a great way to integrate skateboarding into your S.T.E.A.M. curriculum! This challenge is one of our favorites, and we are always stoked to see students creativity. For this challenge, your DIY skateboard does not have to be skateable. The student who submits the most creative DIY skateboard will win a complete skateboard and helmet.

  1. Collect materials in school or have your students bring in objects from home to create a DIY skateboard.

  2. Inspire your students to think outside of the box! We have seen some amazing submissions, so don’t be afraid to try something new.

  3. Once all students have finished their skateboard, choose a winner in your class or school. We recommend an anonymous vote but choose whatever works best.

  4. Upload an image or video of your school's submission to the Monthly Challenge Submission Form.
