What is Get On Board?

 Get On Board is our longest-running program and is quite possibly the largest school skateboard program in the US in terms of impact hours. The idea is simple: we focus on working with partners to train a champion (teacher, coach, etc.) who facilitates the Get On Board curriculum, adding their own voice to meet the needs of their students. Once the champion is comfortable with leading the way, we help connect the dots for gear. There are options from grants to gear loans through our home office or a Pod Spot location (Montpelier, Vermont & Orland, Maine, with more on tap), where we loan all the gear to make it happen. This allows us to continue training other partners, creating a bigger footprint and more impact. Creating access to resources is our force multiplier.
